Ivy Faye Monroe is an architect, artist, and educator whose sensitive and thorough creations reflect her deep respect and awe for the natural world and appreciation to complex and elegant problem solving. Her unique vision captures mystery and seduction and uses these elements in powerful aesthetics to craft unique narratives and experiences. Ivy currently studies at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania pursuing a Bachelors of Architecture degree.

Ivy grew of age between the Aspetuck Valley Land Trust, a privately owned and maintained preserve of Connecticut's natural majesty, and Bridgeport, Connecticut, one of America's most disinvested and tragic urban centers. From these two worlds came her appreciation for the complexities of our world, and the need for sensitive and equally complex solutions. This guided her to pursue a career in architecture.
